Photo competition

How much do you dare to expose?

The 'longest'

If you find long exposures fascinating whether seascapes, cityscapes, day or night landscapes - we want to see them!

Submit your long exposure photos by 10 January 2020 to be in to win a very exclusive prize from our partners in Germany - An Unleashed smart camera control plus other great prizes.

What is

Foolography’s beautifully designed, tiny Bluetooth module gives photographers complete control over their DSLRs from their smartphone: you can change settings, take photos, videos or timelapses, get thumbnail previews and geotag your images.

Star trails, landscapes at night, pretty much everything that long exposure can help us see when the sun goes down.

Water and air movements captured with long exposure - whether it was an ocean, lake, rivers, or even some odd puddles.

The movement of light that is only visible when we slow down the shutter speed to see the cities that never sleep.

From events to light painting to impressionism and sport - anywhere you might have tried long exposures!

The People's Choice category winner will also be selected based on the number of likes and shares of the image on the Excio platform (Download for Android and iPhone) and will be featured in NZPhotographer Magazine.
